Archive Support:Best Practices • Interface with permanent archive should be defined pre-launch. • What will be archived • Data formats and naming conventions • Consistency with previous missions • User support • Permanent archive should be used during mission. • Archive should include meta-data describing contents and high-level products. • Data should be rapidly available • Rapid downloads • Available shortly after data taken. • Users should be given tools for reproducing processed data from low-level data.
