  1. HS Announcements: Wednesday, Jan. 9th High School Attention all high school students. First semester exams will take place next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Make sure you return your pink exam forms by Friday. Attention seniors interested in Sinclair Community College. Scholarship opportunity information for Sinclair is now available in the Guidance office. Please stop by for more information. Attention seniors: Are you interested in applying for the Franklin B. Walters All-Scholastic Award? If so, the application and required documents are due in the HS Guidance Office by January 22, 2013. Stop by HS Guidance to pick up an application. Attention seniors: The Pioneer Electric Coop Scholarship is now available. Your parents need to be Pioneer Electric customers to qualify. First place scholarship amount is $2,000 and second place received $1,500. Please stop in the Guidance office for more information. Attention Seniors: The Ohio JCI Senate Scholarship application is now available in the Guidance office. Deadline is for application is January 17th! Please see Mrs. Hibbs or Ms. Tennant for more information. Attention seniors: The Christy Knotts & Ranae Donohoe Scholarship application is now available in the Guidance office. The deadline to return the scholarship application to the Guidance office will be March 8th. Those juniors in Mrs. Warye’s homeroom need to report to the media center after announcements to receive their ASVAB results. Because of the snow day before Christmas break, the deadline to buy a yearbook for $25 has been extended. Just bring in the completed order form and your money and give it to Mr. Lynxwiler by the end of next week. If you want your name on the cover, it’s $5 more. This is your last chance to order at this price. High school girls soccer workouts will begin the week after exams (January 22nd). Captain’s meeting will still take place this Wednesday, after school. See Mr. Cotrell with any questions. Attention Red Cross Club members – there is not meeting today. It will take place next week on a day to be determined. Attention New York City Seniors – you had a NYC Payment of $100 due by Friday, Dec. 21st to Mr. Cotrell or Mr. Lewis. If you did not turn this payment in before break, please do so as soon as possible. At this point you should have at least $250 in your NYC account. See Mr. Cotrell or Mr. Lewis to confirm that you are paid up. Please turn payments in during homeroom. Athletics The JV Boys Basketball team defeated Ben Logan last night by a score of 54 – 19. Ross Kelley had 13 pts and Brandon Adams had 11. The Varsity Boys Basketball team defeated Ben Logan 68-52. Leading scorers for WL-S were Landon Hormann-22, Max Bailey-13, and Grant Burden-11. The team is now 10-2 on the year and plays at Mechanicsburg on Friday.
