  2. Ephesians 4:1-6 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

  3. Lead a Life Worthy of Your Calling

  4. Humility To esteem others better than ourselves True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less. Attributed to C.S. Lewis

  5. Gentleness To be willing to waive one’s rights. Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also; and if anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, give your cloak as well; and if anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second mile. Matthew 5:40-41

  6. Patience and Loving Forbearance That long-suffering which makes allowances for others’ short-comings. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

  7. Making Every Effort Continuing what Christ has started Living in the reality of what Christ has achieved Not undoing what has been done Becoming what we are

  8. One • One Body • One Spirit • One Hope • One Lord • One Faith • One Baptism • One God
