  1. Amazing Propheciesof the Bible

  2. The Bible contains 66 books written by about 40 authors, including kings, priests, fishmen, a prime minister, a shepherd, a tax collector, a doctor….

  3. These books were written across 1600 years. The places they were written were as west as a Roman jail, and as east as a Persian palace.

  4. There seems to be an invisible author behind the scene dominating the writing of each book, so that they are like pieces of jigsaw matching together flawlessly.

  5. The completed work precisely shows how the human beings fell and lost and how God offered the salvation.

  6. All together, there are 1817 prophecies in the Bible. 3.8% are coming true. 96.2% have completely come true. • for the End of the World • for Nations • for Israel • for Christ

  7. Prophecies for Nations In the sixth century B.C., when the Babylonian Empire was at its summit, Daniel the prophet foretold there would be four empires after it. Gold head Silver chest & arms Bronze belly & thighs Iron legs The king of Babylon dreamed of this large statue. Daniel interpreted it for him. Partly iron & partly baked clay feet

  8. Prophecies for Nations In the sixth century B.C., when the Babylonian Empire was at its summit, Daniel the prophet foretold there would be four empires after it. Babylonian Empire(Splendid & glorious.) Gold head Persian & Median Empire (Two races would be in power in turn.) Silver chest & arms Greek Empire(Daniel also prophesied that it would be split into four parts after the death of Alexander the Great.) Bronze belly & thighs Roman Empire (As strong as iron, but would split into two parts: east & west.) Iron legs Partly iron & partly baked clay feet Union of ten nations(European Union? Half strong & half weak.)

  9. Prophecies for Nations 160 years before the fall of the Babylonian Empire, Isaiah the prophet prophesied that Babylon would become ruins and never be inhabited. Babylon indeed became ruins hundreds of years later. For more than 2000 years, no Arab has dared to stay there overnight. The ambitious Saddam Hussein of Iraq planned to rebuild it. But the construction was halted and abandoned till now because of the Persian Gulf War. Babylon, 1932 Babylon, 2006

  10. Prophecies for Israel The Israelis were God’s chosen people. The Bible and Christ all came from them. Their history serves as a lesson for all mankind. The Bible foretold that the Israelis would become a reproach and be thrown among nations because of their rebellion against God. However, God eventually would bring them back to their homeland. Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion proclaiming Israeli independence on May 14, 1948, below a portrait of Theodor Herzl, the founder of Zionism. After perishing for 2000 years, the Jewish nation was miraculously restored on May 14, 1948.

After perishing for 2000 years, the Jewish nation was miraculously restored on May 14, 1948. The next day four Arab nations allied to attack Israel. To the world’s surprise, Israel survived, and defeated her enemies in the following four Middle-East wars.

  15. Prophecies for Christ Every biography of a great man in the history was written after the events. Jesus Christ is the only one whose life had been written before His birth. Those 320 prophecies about Him have completely come true. This not only proves that the Bible was inspired by God, but also proves that Jesus Christ is the Savior sent by God. He became the atonement for all mankind according to God’s will. Those who believe and receive Him are forgiven and are reconciled to God. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Christ

Ps 90:10 The length of our days is seventy years-- or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

  22. 2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day. According to the Bible, Adam was created in about 4000 BC. If Jesus Christ returns now to start the Millenium, the time frame is in proportion to the seven days of creation.
