  2. İnönü Primary School is located in Mersin that is the 8th biggest city of Turkey and on the coast of The Mediterranean Sea. Mersin has a population of nearly 1,5 million people. İnönü was the second president of The Republic of Turkey. LOCATION

  3. OUR SCHOOL Our school has a big building. It is included Nursery, Primary and Secondary parts. We have about 2000 pupils who are aged between 5 -14 and they are divided into two parts. The 1st group stays at school from early in the morning till noon and The 2nd group stays at school from noon till evening. İnönü Primary School incorporates 40 classrooms, separated rooms for a computer lab, a science lab, a psychologist’s office, a technology-design lab, Director’s Office, Co-Directors’ Offices and teachers’ room and a canteen.

  4. OUR HISTORY İnönü Primary School was established in 2003.

  5. Our teachers and students are so glad to be in our Comenius Project and we are so excited. We are all looking forward to visiting your countries and hosting you here, in Mersin.

  6. Our school hasn’t attended any International projects before. This will be a great experience for us. Last year, some of our students exchanged letters with the students from a Ukranian school, and they liked it very much. They made good friendships.

  7. The Uniform Unfortunately, we have school uniforms in our school.

  8. SCHOOL LIFE We have folklore groups and they perform dances from different regions of Turkey.

  9. Celebrations on 23rd April This Festival is Atatürk’s gift to Turkish children

  10. ACTIVITIES In Turkey, we celebrate “Children’s Festival” on 23rd April. On that day, students perform their dances and shows.

  11. The students spend so much time to prepare their shows.
