  2. Who Are We? Administrative Professionals at CSU are: • Research Associates & Scientists • Administrators • Coordinators • Cooperative Extension Agents • Colorado State Forest Service Personnel • Counselors • Coaches Out of 7,340 total CSU employees, 2,150 are Administrative Professionals.

  3. APC Purpose The purpose of the Administrative Professional Council (APC) is to represent and promote the interests of administrative professionals at Colorado State University and to facilitate communication among APs who work both on campus and at remote sites. The APC considers many issues that have the potential to affect the welfare of APs.

  4. APC Goals • Research, discuss, and make recommendations to the CSU Administration and assist in implementation, when warranted, regarding employment and benefit issues. • Foster communication and shared governance with CSU Administration, Classified Personnel Council, Faculty Council and APs. • Improve the presence of the Administrative Professional Council and APs at CSU. • Contribute broadly to the welfare of CSU by participating in campus community events and projects that benefit APs and others.

  5. APC Events and Projects • Food Drive for the Food Bank for Larimer County • APC Spring Luncheon • APC Coffee Breaks • Distinguished Administrative Professional Awards • AP Stars Awards • Toy Drive for Boys & Girls Club • Clothing Drives for Irish Elementary School

  6. Become Involved in APC • Nominate someone to serve on APC • Volunteer to serve on APC • Vote in the APC elections • Attend APC events to meet your APC area representative as well as other APs • Participate in APC food, toy and clothing drives • Join an APC standing committee

  7. Benefits of Involvement • Become familiar with CSU employee benefits • Network and meet colleagues from across CSU • Become aware of issues and events at CSU • Meet and dialog with CSU decision makers • Be part of decisions affecting AP’s at CSU • Learn about the inner workings of CSU • Make a difference in the CSU community
