Format Final Exam

This document outlines the format and guidelines for the BA 5938 Final Exam in Multivariate Analysis. You are permitted to use up to four double-sided standard pages and a calculator during the exam.   2. The Approximate General Format • First off you will be allowed 4 pages double sided standard paper size. Also, you can use a calculator. • No computers or phones. • The exam: • 40% what statistical technique is best to use when • I’ll describe a scenario and data at hand. • You’ll be given a list of tests to select from • More than one scenario could be the same technique • 40% reading computer output and answering a question. • Example what variables are significant at alpha level .05. • Give the p-value of the t-test and decide to reject/fail to reject. • More clearer as we learn more techniques. • 10% Give the r command to perform a statistical technique • 10% random from stuff learned in class
