  1. FINAL DRAFT FORMAT

  2. I am a former ENGLISH teacher! • I grade like a former ENGLISH teacher! • I used to teach BOTH 7th and 8th grade ENGLISH, so I KNOW the level of writing that you should be giving me. • How you write is as important as WHAT you write!

  3. TYPED (word processed) • Double spaced • One inch margins all sides of the paper • Font: size 12 ONLY • Arial, Times New Roman, or Century • TITLE – may be in size 22 font or LOWER • Only one empty space between title and body • NAME – written on BACK of last page! • MUST include a bibliography of all sources used - typed/written on a separate slice of paper and added to the back of the paper.

  4. Single spaced information looks like this. Each line is used and an indentation indicates the beginning of a new paragraph. Any time you type, there are two spaces after each period. However, there is only ONE space after a comma or semicolon; punctuation, grammar and spelling are important because incorrect usage leads to difficulty for the reader to understand what you are trying to say. Take you time and don’t make STUPIC misteaks!

  5. Double spaced information looks like this. Every other line is used and an indentation (seven spaces) indicates the beginning of a new paragraph. Any time you type, remember that there are two spaces after each period. Take you time and don’t make STUPIC misteaks!

  6. in BLACKpen • Title on top line • NO writing in margins • No writing on last TWO lines of the paper • NAME – written on BACK of last page! • MUST include a bibliography of all sources used - typed/written on a separate slice of paper and added to the back of the paper.
