Vocabulary Depression- time when many people are out of work and have little money to buy goods Propaganda- spreading persuasive, but sometimes false, ideas to influence people Fascist- totalitarian governments encouraging nationalism, strong military, and often racism Concentration camps- prisons where people are sent because of their religion, heritage or political beliefs Genocide- deliberate, planned destruction of a racial, political or cultural group
