Covenant of Relationship Being a part of the fellowship, a member has the following covenant with individual members and the body as a whole: • Affirmation There is nothing you have done and nothing you can do that will make me stop loving you. • Availability Everything that is mine – my time, my talent, my energy, my everything that is of me – is at your disposal, to the limits of my disposal…

  28. Covenant of Relationship • Prayer I will pray for you in amore or less fashion, believing that God wants me to bring your needs to the Creator. • Honesty I will speak the truth in honesty, even at the risk of discomfort for both you and me,. I will trust our relationship to hurdle difficulties that may arise as we confront each other with what must be said, for I realize that it is in speaking the truth in love that we both grow up in every way unto God who is the Head.

  29. Covenant of Relationship • Openness I will strive to be a more open person who will not be afraid to express his/her needs, weakness, failures to a brother or a sister who will love me for who I am. • Sensitivity I will endeavor to be more sensitive to your needs; to observe and not just to see; to listen and not just to hear; to learn and reflect how to act; to feel not with my senses, but with my heart.

  30. Covenant of Relationship • Confidentiality I will promise to keep what you share within the Fellowship, realizing that it is in keeping personal matters ‘personal’ that trust grows within the Body. • Accountability I covenant to be a part of the Body, not just to come and go as I please. I am accountable to discover and use my gifts for the Body. More than this, I covenant to guard my inner life, endeavoring to grow up in the Lord, that I may be an asset to You and the Body. If there is anything weak in my relationship with God, I promise to struggle with it that I may become a stronger person, both for You and the Body.
