  1. Blueprint Reading Learning the different types of lines will allow you to understand the intent of the drafter. These different line type are universally applied and are used throughout the drafting industry. By drawing different line weights and patterns, we can differentiate the line’s meanings even when they are single color drafts (As with original “Blueprints”).

  2. Interpreting Lines Read with the understanding that you will be asked to recall both the description and the purpose for each of the lines.
