  4. Your Library Card Library cards are colored grade level with rainbow colors: Kindergarten: Red Grade 1: Orange Grade 2: Yellow Grade 3: Green Grade 4: Blue Grade 5: Purple

Sliders • “Sliders” are to be carried against your leg when walking place to place, • Use sliders carefully when placing between books to mark your place. • If you don’t want the book - return it where your slider marked the spot. • If you want the book – remove slider.   6. Check-out Check-out procedure: • Stand in line quietly, keeping your hands to yourself, give librarian your books with the barcode up. Smile. Use your manners. • Take one bookmark only each week. When done checking out go to next directions. hertzfurniture.com

When you bring back your library books each week, you will be able to exchange them for new books. Kindergarten and first grade can check out a total of 1 book each week. Second – fifth graders can check out a total of 2 books each week. We have open library several times during the week in case you finish a book and want to get a new one. Our library records are school district wide so we can help students in every school. According to our records you have the following book(s) checked out at your last school: ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ We’ll send them to your old school so you can check out books here or you may return the books to your old school.  Again welcome to Knollwood, explore the library media center, and begin your next adventure.
