Client Information • Our client is Intel Corporation • Founded in 1968 • To build semiconductor memory products • Mission is to be the leading building block supplier to the worldwide Internet economy. • Intel supplies chips, boards, systems, software, networking and communications equipment, and services that comprise the "ingredients" of computer architecture and the Internet. Background • A specialist in the automation world is responsible for designing software to control manufacturing tools. • SECSIMPro is the standard software created by GW Associates that is used by many companies to compile SECS Message Language (SML) and SECS Script Language (SSL) files to be used in the testing of these tools.   7. Project Information • Client needs a fast and efficient way of creating SML and SSL files for testing their hardware. Currently, too much time is spent on handwriting the scripts • This will reduce the time in creating these files and reduce the knowledge necessary for writing SSL files E N S C R Y P T

  8. Problem Statement ENSCRYPT will develop a graphical application for Intel to assist in the creation of SML and SSL files. E N S C R Y P T

How this helps the client? • Will help produce SML and SSL scripts easier, more efficiently, faster, and without having to have expert knowledge on script syntax • Focus primary interest on more profitable tasks • Intel will gain profit that would far exceed the cost of developing the tool E N S C R Y P T
