  3. HADITH

  4. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Allah, the Exalted, smiles at two men, one of them killed the other and both will enter Jannah. The first is killed by the other while he is fighting in the Cause of Allah, and thereafter Allah will turn in mercy to the second and guide him to accept Islam and then he dies as a Shaheed (martyr) fighting in the Cause of Allah.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

  5. AL QURAN Surah An-Naas The Mankind

  6. Open your notes & Take out your pencil • Let us study it verse by verse. • Keep looking at your notes for writing imp. Points…

  8. Rabb, King, Deity • As you say these 3 attributes, stretch your imagination to the maximum. • Imagine the globe with the 7 billion people. And feel that Allah is • Rabb: feeding them, taking care of them… • King: He has absolute control over them • Deity: He is the true deity of all people With this imagination, feel His power and then ask for protection…

  9. Feel the presence of the wicked enemy, always with you… and feel his roles

  10. What does this mean? Evil Anything that leads to evil (even if it appears to be good)

  11. Shaitan is always in one of the two States وَسْوَاس خَنَّاس or When you FORGET Allah When you REMEMBER Allah

  12. After you know, it isOnly Zikr, not intelligence!!!

  13. Shaitaan is…! • Creative • Committed • Intelligent • Experienced … from the time of Adam, (saws); has misled perhaps billions of people. • With you ALWAYS • Can whisper right into your heart!

  14. Shaitaan is…! • Hates you to the max. • Loves your destruction (Hell) • Hates you when you pray, study Qur’an, help others, … • Loves you when you disobey Allah, the Most Merciful • Evil, Wicked, disgusting,

Chests • Chest and the heart is like courtyard and the house. Shaitaan enters like a thief into the courtyard and whispers from there. • If the heart is alive and sound with the Zikr of Allah, it will say A’oodhu billah just like the owner of the house who wakes up at thief’s entry. And Shaitan runs away like a thief.

  17. Whispering of evil is done by devils from among jinn as well as by devils from among men.

And then such a person becomes “human Shaitan” too! Repetition leads to habit – and habit leads to destiny

  19. DPPR Ask Propagate Understand I+G Evaluate Plan Check Interacting with Surah An-Naas; Bringing it into Life Let people know the dangers, the fatal strokes and entry points of Shaitaan. We should recite Surah An-Naas or say “A’oozu billah…” very often. Plan to avoid. Make group plan too, at family and society level to avoid the attacks of Shaitaan. And work on them! How many times did we fall into Shaitaan’s trap? Why? Bad friends? gadgets? Lack of knowledge?

  20. An-Naas … at the end of Qur’an? • Even if you have knowledge, you have to continuously fight the whispering of Shaitaan TILL DEATH. • You can not hit Shaitaan, you can not kill him, you can’t even see him. You can’t convince him either. • The only COMPLETE and PERFECT solution is: Take refuge in Allah thru His Zikr.

  21. Silent Study for 2 min. in Silence Use your pencil to mark or underline new words. And now translate…

  22. DPPR Ask Propagate Understand I+G Evaluate Plan Check

  23. DPPR Ask Propagate Understand I+G Evaluate Plan Check

  25. Notice a fine point of difference between… Al-Falaq: One attribute of Allah; 3 areas of protection (in addition to general). An-Naas: Three attribute of Allah (Stronger supplication); One area of protection Damages limited to this world, in general Fatal stroke – affects Aakhirah.

  26. Implement it the way the Prophet pbuh did… Who among us does not want protection from the enemies of our world and our hereafter? Don’t every forget to recite it the way the Prophet pbuh did.

  27. Protective Coating!!! Recite the last 3 Quls. • After Fajr & Maghrib prayer – 3 times (Main coating); • After every Zuhr, Asr, Isha (Re-coat) • Before sleep (Special coat)

Grammar

  29. Let us Revise the last class

  30. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

  31. Today’s Lesson

  32. Do it with TPI فَاعِلthe one who does مَفْعُولthe one who is affected فِعْلto do, act of doing

  33. TPI instructions … There was a time when Muslims used to give knowledge, art, technology, to the world. Now it is the opposite, because we left the Qur’an. Remember “to give.” • When you say فَاعِل (doer), show it with your right hand as if you are giving, i.e., doing somthing. • When you say مَفْعُول(the one who is affected), show it with your right hand as if you are receiving something, i.e., affected by the help. • While saying فعل(to do), show it with your right hand by making a fist raised high as if you are showing the power of action.

  34. We already learnt Plurals…

When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

  36. Feminine Gender • We will learn only one form (singular, 3rd Person) for feminine gender • This form occurs in the Qur’an many times • Other forms occur rarely and we will learn them later.

  37. Feminine Gender

When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

  39. Learning tip We have to use BRAIN to learn the Qur’an! And we have got an extremely powerful one!!!!

  40. Tip No. 1 Our brain has: • 10000000 cells , neurons • Each cell has 20,000 dendrites • Can make 1,00,000,000,000,000 (a million billion) Connections • 500 times/sec We have toooooo much CAPACITY.

  41. Tip No. 2 • We use hardly 5% of our brain! • It is empty……!

  42. Tip No. 3 • Only up to 3% of brain cells die when you reach 60 years of age! • If you forget things at this age, it is due to lack of using the rules of memory.

  43. Tip No. 4 • For brain and muscles – Exercise is a must. • More important for aged people • Use it or lose it!!! • Why not use it for Qur’an • Learning Qur’an has special blessings too.

  44. Fill up the WorksheetsDo the 7+2 Homeworks.
