  13. Final Thoughts Stocks are risky, but I proved that sometimes living on the edge pays. Literally. Even considering we were on an economic down turn, I would not put money in an CD as an actual investment unless I really can’t afford to lose money at that point in time. I would definitely invest in stocks again, that much money is too much to walk away from and never invest again.
