Objective ABCD Audience Behavior Condition Degree When playing with a ring stacking game, the toddlerwill place the ringsin on the center pole of the stacker and will put all the rings back on the stacker in proper order.
Assessment • The caregiver will determine whether the child can understand which rings are bigger and smaller and can stack the rings on the stacker in order from bigger rings to smaller rings. • The child will have three chances to properly stack the rings on the stacker.
Materials RING STACK GAME CAREGIVER
TIME • Approximately 5 to 10 minutes • Toddler will have three attempts to proper stack the rings
Introduction • Sit the toddler down in the middle of the room • Introduce to them the ring stacking game
Step-by-Step Plan • Let the child explore the toy ( explore how the game works ) • Caregiver models how the rings are stacked • Then instruct the child to stack the rings in order from largest to smallest
The Child will begin to observe the rings and determine which are the big ones and which are the smaller ones • The toddler will then attempt to stack the rings in order • The toddler will have three tries to correctly stack the rings
CLOSURE • When the child completely stacks the rings give them praise for their accomplishment • Then put the game away and transition the child onto the next activity.
