  4. What is the Enrollment for Education Solutions? Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) is a new subscription offering for primary/secondary and higher education customers with 5 FTE or more. Available Worldwide March 1, 2011 (except Japan) EES Offers: • Easy Compliance • CustomizedSolutions • Lower Total Cost of Ownership • Simplified Asset Management • Low Administration Partner L200, Phase II

The formula below outlines how to determine thenumber of faculty/staff FTE employees an organization has: • For example, you have 2,000 full-time faculty, 3,000 part-time faculty, 1,000 full-time staff, and 1,000 part-time staff. The FTE employee count is calculated as follows: • 2,000 + (3000  3) + 1,000 + (1000  2) = 4,500 FTE employees Note: In EMEA, counting FTEs follows this formula: FTE Employees = faculty and staff who work more than 200 hours per year.

  9. EES Student Option • Organizations may license selected products for use by their students on a personally owned or an institution-owned computers designated for the student’s exclusive use. Calculate Student FTE within customer’s defined “organization” • 100% of students in participating institution or department must be included.   20. 4 Steps to Getting Started with EES • Define your Organization: • Customers may define their organization as: their entire institution with or without affiliates, by department, school site or other defined user grouping. • Count Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees: • All customers subscribing to EES will count FTEs to license their chosen products. • Meet the minimum of 5 FTEs within the organization: • Academic organizations that meet the requirements under the QEU with 5 FTE or more qualify for EES. • License at least one Desktop Platform Product organization wide.   23. eAgreements Overview Microsoft’s eAgreementtool is an online solution designed to improve Partner and Customer experience with the Microsoft Volume Licensing agreement process. The eAgreements tool enables: • Electronic creation • Assembly • Signature • And execution of Available for Open Value Subscription – Education Solutions (OVS-ES) agreement.   26. eAgreements Web Client eAgreements has two different user interfaces – a Web Client and a Smart Client. The eAgreements Web Client allows users to – • Invite Users • Manage Organization Details • Download the Smart Client To open the web client navigate to https://eagreements.microsoft.com. New users will need to complete the registration process outlined in the next slide before logging in to the smart client.
