  3. impressionism In this period artists were exploring style of painting which looks like a photograph. Hence its called realism or impressionism. Also many artist from this movement tried to study light and its properties.

  4. Abstract expressionism In this art movement, artists concentrated more on their feeling and left it to the viewer to depict whatever he wants to.

  5. Cubism The main objective of this period was to understand different perspective. and also artists were not paying attention to the form , it was more different forms and angles.

  6. Surrealism This art was based on psychology. It was more about our dreams and logic behind them. As this art started after and war, artist tried to show the cruelty that took place while war was going on.

  7. Minimalism

  8. Minimalism Minilmalism is art movement in which there has been use of only fundamental features in the art. Hence they are minimal. In this art artist have tried to depict everything by using minimum visual features.

  9. Dadaism Dadaism is anti-art. Its all about not following traditional art theories. In this movement artist gave there artwork different perspective. As dada is anti art, its more up to viewer what to depict from the art work. But also the message is very effective.
