  3. My dad is a major surfer. Meaning he surfs EVERYDAY! He is always in surf contests. But I have never been in any of them. Dad

  4. Jetty Kid Surf Contest The jetty kid is a surf contest only for kids! I entered in it! The jetty kid surf contest is always at south mission beach jetty.

  5. My heat was next! There were millions of butterflies swarming in my stomach!

  6. My dad said, “ The best surfer is the one who is having the most fun.”

  7. What if I fall? Should I go for it? What if I lose

  8. I’m going for it!

  9. Go Pearl! Yeah! All the way to the beach!

  10. Good Job Pearl!

  11. Janet Shackelton got 2nd!!!!!!!! I got 1st!

  12. Ever since that day, I had Surfed and won few surf Contests. Even though I never had surfed the board I had won that day. It was life-changing
