  1. Groups and Connections Can I understand the different connections between myself and other people in the world? • Create a diagram that shows all the different groups you belong to. • For example... • family • school • clubs/teams • friendship groups • religion

  2. Get into a group with people who... • share the same eye colour • follow the same religion • like the same music • speak the same number of languages • support the same football team • share the same birthday month

  3. Find five more things that you have in common with people in your current group.

  4. On the map you have been given, draw on how you are connected with different places in the world. Think about: • where you and other family members were born • countries you have visited/ lived in • countries you would like to visit/ live in • places where clothes you wear have been made • places where languages you speak are spoken • places where food and drink you like come from

  5. Find out more about the connections you have with different places in the world. Be ready to share your discoveries next lesson.
