1. สรุปการใช Question Tag สําหรับนักเรียนอัจฉริยะ 1. เมื่อ Question Tag ตามหลังขอความที่เปนประโยคคําสั่งขอรองเชื้อเชิญใหใชโครงสรางดังนี้ ........................................................., will you ? เชน :- Open the door of this house, will you ? Stop smoking in the bus, will you ? Come and see us tomorrow, will you ? Speak slowly, will you ? 2. เมื่อ Question Tag ตามหลังสํานวน Let’s, Let me ใหใชโครงสรางดังนี้ Let’s ..............................................., shall we ? เชน :- Let’s go for a walk this evening, shall we ? Let’s go to the cinema tonight, shall we ? Let’s sing the national song, shall we ? Let me ..............................................., will you ? Let + object..............................................., will you ? เชน :- Let me go home now, will you ? Let him do this for me, will you ? Let her come in, will you ? Let Daeng speak, will you ? 3. ถาประโยคขางหนามี there is, there are, there was, และ there were เมื่อทําเปน Question Tag ใหใช Verb to be นั้นๆ + there เชน :- There is a cat in the kitchen, isn’t there ? There are not many people at the party, are there ? There was much rain in Bangkok, wasn’t there ? 4. ถาประโยคขางหนาเปน This is, That is เมื่อเปน Question Tag ใหใช isn’t it ? หรือ is it ? แลวแตกรณีเชน :- This is my table, isn’t it ? That isn’t her book, is it ? 5. ถาประโยคขางหนาเปน Those are, These are เมื่อทําเปน Question Tag ใหใช aren’t they หรือ are they แลวแตกรณีเชน :- These are my trousers, aren’t they ? Those are not her belongings, are they ? 6. ถาประโยคขางหนามีคําตอไปนี้คือ few, little, never, seldom, hardly, rarely, scarcely, neither, none, nobody, nothing ซึ่งมีความหมายเปนปฏิเสธอยูแลวหากทําเปน Question Tag ตอง เปนประโยคคําถามแบบธรรมดาเชน :-

2. 7. ถาประโยคขางหนามี one (คนเรา) เปนประโยคของประโยคหากทําเปน Question Tag ใหใช one เปนประธานอยูเหมือนเดิมเชน :- One wants to be a good person, doesn’t one ? One shouldn’t be selfish, should one ? One can’t be too greedy, can one ? 8. ถาประธานของประโยคขางหนาเปน no one, nobody, everyone, anyone, anybody, neither of เมื่อทําเปน Question Tag ใหใช they แทนเชน :- Nobody saw it, did they ? Everyone wants to be happy, don’t they ? Neither of them arrive here, do they ? 9. ถาประโยคขางหนามี None of + ............ เปนประธานในสวน Question Tag ใหทําดังนี้ (a) none of + นามพหูพจนใน Question Tag ใช they เชน :- None of the workers came on time, did they ? (b) none of + us ใน Question Tag ใช we เชน :- None of us knew him, did we ? 10. ถาประโยคขางหนาเปนประโยคซับซอนในสวน Question Tag ใหถือเอากริยาในประโยค Main Clause เปนหลักเชน :- He said he could do this, didn’t he ? He talks as if he were a doctor, doesn’t he ? ขอยกเวน ถาประโยค Main clause หมายถึงตัวเองหรือบุรุษที่ 1 ในสวน Question Tag ให ถือเอาตามขอความใน Subordinate Clause เชน :- I think he has gone there, hasn’t he ? We thought she was sick, wasn’t she ? I think you will pass the exam, won’t you ? 11. การตอบประโยคคําถามของ Question Tag ถือหลักโดยทั่วไปวา ถาประโยคขางหนาของ Question Tag เปนบอกเลาใหคาดไดวาคําตอบตองเปน Yes ถาประโยคขางหนาของ Question Tag เปนปฏิเสธใหคาดไดวาคําตอบตองเปน No You are a student, aren’t you ? Yes, I am. / Yes, I am a student. He isn’t here, is he ? No, he isn’t. / No, he isn’t here. พึงระวัง ประโยคนี้ใหผูเรียนลองวิเคราะหดู Bangkok isn’t the capital of Thailand, is it ? (a) Yes, it is. (b) No, it isn’t. Few people went to the cinema yesterday, did they ? She has scarcely free time, has she ? Nothing is new, is it ? None of the girls liked him, did they ? Little progress has been made, has it ?
