Educational Law on April 30, 2003, №92 • Bachelor - a basic academic degree of higher education, entitling the holder to admission to Master and professional activities; • Master - a full academic degree of higher education, entitling the holder to admission to postgraduate study and practice a profession.

The stages of the Bologna reforms in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Tempus projects • The National Bureau coordinators ECTS / DS under the Ministry of Education and Science of the KR; • Creating a methodical and regulatory framework which aimed at: - Upgrading of existing educational programs; - Development and implementation of innovative programs; - The introduction of ECTS; - Promoting the comparability of diplomas; - Development of State Educational Standards of the new generation, based on learning outcomes and ECTS.

The stages of the Bologna reforms in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Tempus projects Quality assurance • Creating the networks for accreditation at the regional level; • External evaluation and accreditation of universities in Kyrgyzstan by international European accreditation agencies; • The direct participation of representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the KR.
