  2. 13th Amendment Slavery Abolished It was proposed on January 31,1865 It was ratified on December 6, 1865

  3. 13th Amendment • Abolish slavery and involuntary servitude.

  4. Reconstruction 13th amendment is called the reconstitution amendment because it is referred to as the civil war amendments

  5. When, Where did the slavery begin in America? • The slave started in America in Virginia, Jamestown on August, 1619.

  6. Is the word “slavery” in the constitution? The word slavery is not in the constitution, the constitution allowed to have a slave trade

  7. Abolitionists Abolitionist- A person who wanted to do away with slavery. End Slavery!
