  2. Day of Honour The Prime Minister has declared May 9, 2014 as the Day of Honour to commemorate our soldiers who served in Afghanistan. The government is planning a full day of commemorative events in Ottawa, including: • A parade of 500 currently serving CAF members and veterans who were deployed to Afghanistan, with the parade ending on Parliament Hill • Memorial service for the families of the fallen on Parliament Hill • An address by the Prime Minister to Canadians from Parliament Hill • 2 minutes of national silence • Special commemoration of the families of the fallen and soldiers who are ill and injured • Engagement of all Premiers and school boards to run concurrent events in their provinces on May 9 Over the past few weeks, True Patriot Love and Canada Company have been working with the Prime Minister’s Office, and the departments of National Defence and Veterans Affairs on ways to engage the private sector in order to demonstrate corporate Canada’s support for the soldiers and their families who have served, and continue to serve, our country.

Tribute Breakfast • On May 9th, from 8-9:30 am at the Convention Centre in Ottawa, True Patriot Love, in partnership with Canada Company, will be hosting a Tribute Breakfast to the families of the fallen. • There will be 1,000 attendees including: • The Prime Minister • Minister of National Defence • The families of the fallen (approximately 800 family members) • Celebrities, including Canadian Olympic Athletes • Representatives from corporate Canada • Representatives from military charities

Tribute Breakfast VIP Reception • There will be a VIP reception running concurrently with the Tribute Breakfast in an adjoining location from 8:00-9:30 am with special remarks from the Prime Minister. • Following the VIP reception, guests will be invited to join the Tribute Breakfast • Guests at the VIP reception, will include: • Prime Minister • The Minister of National Defence • Corporate sponsors

Benefits: • Six tickets to the Breakfast • Six tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as Food and Beverage Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as Food and Beverage Sponsor at the Podium • Recognition as Food and Beverage Sponsor in advertisements in National newspapers Food and Beverage Sponsor $30,000

Benefits: • Six tickets to the Breakfast • Six tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as VIP Reception Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as VIP Reception Sponsor at the Podium • Recognition as VIP Reception in advertisements in National newspapers VIP Reception Sponsor $15,000

  8. The sponsorship includes: • Covering the centerpieces on each of the tables of at the breakfast. Centerpieces will be comprised of 10 white rose, one for each family to wear to the memorial service • Benefits: • Four tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as Centerpiece Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as Centerpiece Sponsor from the Podium • Recognition as Centerpiece Sponsor in advertisements in National newspapers Tribute Roses $10,000

The sponsorship includes: • Covering the travel costs of three families of the fallen to travel to Ottawa for the Day of Honour and to attend the Tribute Breakfast. • Benefits: • Four tickets to the Breakfast • Four tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as Gold Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as Gold Sponsor from the Podium • Recognition as Gold Sponsor in advertisements in National newspapers Gold Sponsor $10,000

The sponsorship includes: • Covering the travel costs of two families of the fallen to travel to Ottawa for the Day of Honour and to attend the Tribute Breakfast. • Benefits: • Three tickets to the Breakfast • Three tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as Silver Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as Silver Sponsor from the Podium • Recognition as Silver Sponsor in advertisements in National newspapers Silver Sponsor $7,500

The sponsorship includes: • Covering the travel costs of two military families to travel to Ottawa for the Day of Honour and to attend the Tribute Breakfast. • Benefits: • Two tickets to the Breakfast • Two tickets to the corporate VIP reception • Recognition as Bronze Sponsor on prominent signage at the event and all relevant marketing materials • Recognition as Bronze Sponsor from the Podium • Recognition as Bronze Sponsor in advertisements in National newspapers Bronze Sponsor $5,000

Corporate VIP Package - $3,500 • 4 tickets to the VIP Reception and the Breakfast • VIP Package - $1,800 • 2 tickets to the VIP Reception and the Breakfast • Individual VIP - $1,000 • 1 ticket to the VIP Reception and the Breakfast • Individual Breakfast - $500 • 1 ticket to the Breakfast Tickets
