  2. TFA Annotations: As you read each of the following chapters from TFA, look for text evidence that focuses upon each of the topics listed below. Keep in mind that you also need to be reading and annotating for your research topic. • Chapter 7: Biblical allusions • Chapter 8: changes of Okonkwo, Nwoye, and others in community • Chapter 9: Okonkwo’scharacter transformation in the face of illness • Chapter 10: Ibo culture & its conformity to our society’s beliefs/behaviors & beliefs common for both Ibo and our societies • Chapter 11: Okonkwo’s, Ekwefi’s, and Ezinma’s reactions • Chapters 12-13: Okonkwo’s violent behavior

EA #1: Choosing Group Topics BASIC DETAILS: • This project will essentially take place outside of class. • You will have 1 class day to plan your project based upon your research articles. • You will have 1 class day (2/27 & 2/28) to compile your presentation. • (If you cannot finish compiling during class, you will need to finish outside of class!)

EA #1: Group Planning • Decide how best to divide up your research that is due next class • (which web sites you’ll visit; specifics you’ll research) • EVERYONE is responsible for researchingand for showing documentation of their research • Database, .edu, .org, or .govwebsites ONLY • Minimum of 3 sources per person from a reliable source • Determine GROUP LEADER- Responsible for making sure group is ready to present on the due date • Decide method of correspondence (Google Docs, Today’s Meet, etc. and make sure you invite me to this method. I’ll be checking your collaboration at the end of each week for your involvement.)

  5. EA #1Requirement Requirements: • Visual/Audio Presentation • This is limited only by your imagination! (you may bring your devices for this portion and visit my website for tech. ideas) • Be ready to let me know how you plan to accomplish this portion of the assignment by 2/15 (B); 2/19 (A) • 5-7 minute presentation (We will do this like “centers” so multiple groups will present at the same time.) • Every person in the group must present a portion of the information. • Works Cited (Group & Individual) • Create an audience participation component/questionnaire-more detail to come about this section
