  1. Due dates ahead Next class (Wednesday), write summaries for Arthur Jarvis’ manuscripts and personal essay. Prepare for in class assessment. For Friday, prepare 3 questions to ask Mr. Williams about Civil Rights days. Finish reading the book. Bring a photocopies of 2 passages that best symbolize hope for South Africa’s future. For Tuesday (2-18), bring complete section 5 timelines and lit circle jobs. (timeline notes and lit circle jobs will be collected). Also, use Parkway South High data bases to find four articles about the Civil Rights Movement. The best articles will contain information that connects (or contrasts) with what you read in Cry, the Beloved Country. For Thursday (2-20) Found poem due.
