  2. Mr. Doppler Was Born On November 29,1803 In Salzburg, Austria. His family were stonemason's who had a business in Salzburg, Austria from 1674. The business led to the building of a fine house in the Hannibal Platz in Salzburg. Christian was born in this family house were he would have had to grow up to take over the stonemason's business. However his health was never very good and he was quite frail so he could not follow in the family tradition. Christian Attended Primary School In Salzburg And Then Attended Secondary School In Linz. After completing high school Doppler studied astronomy and mathematics in Vienna and Salzburg and started working at Prague Polythechic.
