  3. Revisions • Provide a simplified process at the outset that illustrates minimum level of PI requirements • Differentiate between EJ and Title VI • Illustrate the process of soliciting and addressing comments • Incorporating when a PIO becomes involved EUM – March 2014

Focus Areas • Communication • Early and often • Responding timely and appropriately • Proactive engagement • Stakeholders and the public • EJ populations • Obtain alternate viewpoints • Understand community needs • Balance public and project interests • Reduce and/or resolve controversy EUM – March 2014

  5. Training • First class is May 20 • Second class is August 5 • Also part of PMTP (Project Management Training Program) EUM – March 2014
