  2. Acts 2:42 “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Context: (1) Obedient believers. (2) Sharing in spiritual activities. FELLOWSHIP 1 Cor. 1:9 “God is faithful, through whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” Context: (1) Those called by the word (1 Cor. 1:18). (2) Spiritual relationship with the Lord.

  3. 2 Cor. 8:4 “beseeching us with much entreaty in regard of this grace and the fellowship in the ministering to the saints:” Context: (1) Brethren, spiritual family (8:1) (2) Shared spiritual responsibility. Ga 2:9 “and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;” FELLOWSHIP Context: (1) Apostles & preachers. (2) Shared spiritual message.

  4. Eph. 5:11 “and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;” Context: (1) Beloved children (5:1) vs. children of disobedience (5:6). (2) Things we should NOT share in! FELLOWSHIP Phil. 3:10 “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;” Context: (1) Christ & believers (Paul). (2) Shared sufferings & goals.

  5. 1 John 1:5 “And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” FELLOWSHIP
