Department of Mathematics and Computer Science • Proposal document(s) received by SAAC on December 15, 2015 • Reviewed on February 1, 2016 • Committee voted on February 1, 2016 and approved all requested changes • Overview of course changes • Correct error in 2009-2015 M.S. in Applied Computer Science, i.e. • “The program requires thirty-three (33) credits, ten courses and CSDP 698, in the thesis option” to “The program requires thirty-two (32) credits (8 graduate level CSDP courses and CSDP 698 and CSDP 798)”

Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (cont.) • Overview of course changes (cont.) • Change course title “CSDP 616 Data Mining Security” to “CSDP 616 Data Mining and Applied Analytics” and course description. • Change course title “CSDP 619 Artificial Neural Networks” to “CSDP 619 Applications of Neural Networks” and course description. • Change course description, i.e. “CSDP 697 Special Topics (3 credits)” to “CSDP 697 Special Topics (3 credits) this course maybe repeated (with different topics) for a maximum of 9 credits”
