GETTING STARTED | STEM Education What students need to know before starting attending a STEM university • Try these steps • Select STEM focused courses in high school to prepare for STEM college level work and tests • Physics • Chemistry • Computer Technology • Science • Calculus • Research different careers that utilize STEM degrees • Internships are important • Interning at a company during their senior year and the Summer prior to entering college will play a large role in keeping students motivated and focused. • Look for a school that is hands-on and provides students with the tools for success.
