  1. FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS The perfect tool for law enforcement first responders!

  2. Why use Cold Fire? • Officer safety • Added service and protection to the citizens of your community • Environmentally safe rated SNAP by the EPA • Cost effective • High-tech low cost tool that‘s easy to use!

  3. ERT, SWAT and Tactical Teams are using Cold Fire! With the use of diversionary devices such as flash grenades, fire is a common threat to team members. Cold Fire hand held 12oz cans are portable and a very effective fire suppression tool! The cans come in all Black or as pictured.

  4. Department of Highway Safety Findings: • One in every four fire department responses is to a vehicle fire • Mechanical or design problems are the leading cause of vehicle fires • Fires following a collision are a main cause of vehicle deaths • Mechanical and design failures are the leading cause of vehicle injuries, many of which were due to the victim’s attempt to put out the fire.

  5. There are Fire Departments world wide that use Cold Fire but…

  6. Because your officers and deputies are on patrol they are most likely to be first responders to a vehicle accident. Responding precious moments before the arrival of the Fire Department. Do they have the right tools available to battle a car fire?

  7. With some rural and isolated areas patrolled by a deputy, it is imperative that they have the proper life saving tools. Many times they are there long before any other backup is available.

  8. We all know that your officers will do all that is humanly possible to save a victim of a vehicle fire. By the nature of the work they do they put themselves in harm’s way. Cold Fire can help to keep your officers safer, reduce injuries and help save lives.

  9. Cold Fire Utilizes Rapid Cooling! • Allows for rapid cooling giving the officer the ability to touch what was once a burning or heated object like a door. • Can be sprayed directly on the victim. • Can create a heat barrier • Does not have a toxic reaction leading to dangerous smoke inhalation • Cold Fire goes directly to the heat source and encapsulates the hydrocarbon molecules. • NON TOXIC, biodegradable and SAFE!

  10. THE FIRE TRIANGLE In order to understand how fire extinguishers work you first need to know a little bit about fire. Four things must be present at the same time in order to produce fire: Enough oxygen to sustain combustion, Enough heat to raise the material to its ignition temperature, Some sort of fuel or combustible material The chemical, exothermic reaction that is fire.

  11. How does Cold Fire work? Most agents extinguish fires by breaking down one leg of the fire triangle, heat and fuel. Cold Fire is considered to have 6 times the penetrating capability of water. This characteristic, coupled with its extraordinary capability to absorb heat, allows Cold Fire to penetrate a fire faster, absorb the heat, and bring the fuel source generating the fire under its flash point more quickly. Cold Fire also works to encapsulate the fuel source and its vapors and simultaneously begins to break down the molecular structure of the hydrocarbon fuel source preventing re-ignition.

  12. On what class of fire can you use Cold Fire? Class A: Wood, tires, brush, forest, structures, textiles, etc. Class B: Vehicles, oil, gasoline, diesel, alcohol. Class D: Metals, such as magnesium, aluminum, & titanium

  13. Cold Fire Advantages • Cold Fire is environmentally friendly, 100% • biodegradable, non-toxic and non-corrosive. • Cold Fire reduces the density of hydrocarbon smoke, • thereby increasing visibility. • Cold Fire’s unique rapid cooling capability enhances • safety. Cold Fire’s rapid cooling effect reduces the • chances of flashover. • The shelf life of Cold Fire is indefinite as long as it is • stored in closed containers between 28°F and 120°F. • Winterized solution to -25°F • Cold Fire is non-slip.

  14. Cold Fire inventor, Jurgen Giessler, holds a mixture of burning magnesium and titanium chips in a towel soaked in Cold Fire demonstrating it’s protective barrier.

  15. Cold Fire is used by… And other racing organizations world wide!

  16. Cold Fire is Cost Effective! • No need to pay a fire extinguisher service • Cold Fire solution is winterized to -25 degrees and has an unlimited shelf life. • No waste, once a chemical unit is discharged all remaining content is wasted. Simply reuse the left over Cold Fire and refill from your own 55 gallon drum. • Only a one time purchase of the 1.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Extinguisher with aspirating nozzle is necessary for hardware.

  17. CHEMICAL UNITS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH! • They do not cool the surface temperatures • Creates toxic environment for rescue workers • Will not work on Class D fires • Do not prevent reigniting • Do not provide a protective barrier • Did not work for the Lenexa Police Department officers when they needed help most!

  18. Cold Fire understands your needs! It is our pledge to give you and your department our complete assistance in all phases of logistical support and implementation of the easy to use and effective Cold Fire system.
