  12. Timings and Arrangements • Leaving School at 1.45pm on the Friday. Pupils should come to school with non uniform but clothes comfortable for the journey. We will text on arrival. • Bags (with names on!) will be kept in school on arrival in the morning. • Returning to school for around 1.15pm on the Tuesday. • Pupils are expected to be in school on Wednesday!

Kit List THESE ITEMS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CENTRE Boots Rucksacks Waterproofs Specialist Equipment ESSENTIAL ITEMS FOR TRAVELLING, EVENING AND GENERAL USE Coat Socks - bring plenty 1 set casual clothes Underclothes (bring plenty!) Shoes / Trainers Nightwear 2 Towels (1 large) Plastic carrier bag for dirty washing. Personal Washing Gear (including soap, toothpaste, shampoo)

Kit List ESSENTIAL ITEMS FOR ALL COURSES The nature of the activities may be hard wearing on students’ clothes so they are advised to bring old items from the following list. 2 pairs of Trainers (including 1 old pair) Warm Hat Minimum - 3 pairs trousers/tracksuit bottoms Gloves Minimum - 3 long sleeved fleeces T Shirts (plenty) Minimum - 3 pairs of thick socks Torch and Battery No jeans on activities. OPTIONAL ITEMS Books Notebook Pens / Pencils Travel and Board Games Wellingtons Camera (not mobile phone cameras)

  17. Communication • School will send a text to inform you we have arrived. • We will aim to update our blog over the weekend. • We will aim to update our blog with any possible delays in our return time. You can collect pupils when they return to school. www.holbrookprimary.com

  18. Items not to take Any mains electrical equipment including mobile phones, MP3 players, hairdryers, CD players, kettles, mobile phone chargers etc. The Centre can provide hairdryers. Chewing gum / Food supplies - The Centre provides all food and there is a tuck shop. Mobile phonesshould not be brought, they are unnecessary, disruptive, unsafe and could hinder an emergency (Dol-y-Moch staff carry mobile phones). The Centre has a strict code of use for mobile phones and reserves the right to confiscate phones and return them to parents.

  19. Medicines Any medicine (including painkillers like Paracetamol) will be held by Holbrook staff for the duration of the stay. This must be in a named box / bag and given to Miss Hernon on the morning of departure. If your child suffers from travel sickness please make sure that he/she is given a preventative tablet, etc. at the appropriate time, and also that a further tablet is brought for the return journey on the Monday. These should be clearly named and handed to Mrs Hernon on the morning of departuretogether with the completed medicine request form.

  20. Spending Money Please ensure all purses / wallets have a contact name inside. Children will need to bring some money (SMALL CHANGE ONLY PLEASE) if they wish to purchase sweets or souvenirs. Sweets and drinks are all priced at 60p per item. Pupils are not permitted to bring more than £6.00 for the Tuck Shop. Pupils are permitted to bring £15 maximum for souvenirs. This money must be placed in a named sealed envelope with souvenir money and pupil name written on it and handed to Miss Hernon on the morning.
