  3. Good bye to the red roof • Ronald McDonald and golden arches will stay • Red and yellow colors stay, but changing red to “terra cotta” and adding colors

  4. Less plastic, more brick and wood • Design firm Lippincott Mercer in charge of redesign, a company with successful experience with companies like Nissan in 2002 improving sales immensely • 3 zones within restaurants: “linger”, “grab and go”, “flexible”

  5. “linger” zone Starbucks like atmosphere with sofas and wifi • “grab and go” zone with tall counters with bar stools for customers eating alone • “flexible” zone for families
