WORKPLAN TUESDAY MAY 17th 2005 • Reminder : objective of this week is to progress and hopefully finalise selection of BANDPLAN and MODULATION baselines • Note: work summary will be in the TG4a meeting minutes to be edited by TG4a Chair • BANDPLAN: • short presentations from Matt, Sorin and Ismail/Saeid • Elaborate on PRF (since Bandplan and PRF are linked through frequency synthesizer) • Possibly merge several Bandplan proposals • Update 15-05-0241-01-004a-summary-band-plans.doc – • strawpoll Philippe Rouzet (STMicroelectronics)

Hereafter is a list of questions related to PRF selection in relation with proposed bandplans and modulations • Mandatory PRF « MPRF » • What is the MPRF (on the mandatory sub band)? • What is inside the MPRP (1 pulse, 1 chip) ? Any specificity for preamble? • Relation between MPRF and pulse Peak to peak Voltage • MPRF versus inter pulse interference • Data rate (payload) for MPRF (and which relation between bit /symbol, pulse/chip, and pulse/chip compression 1) -reminder : must be demodulated by Non Coherent RX- • … Philippe Rouzet (STMicroelectronics)
