  7. I heard you had an interview to become a journalist!

  8. Uh, yeah. You know, the pen is always mightier than sword.

  9. But I’m a little nervous if I can do it well or not.

  10. Don’t worry, just make sure you dot you i’s and cross your t’s!

Speak of the devil: It is used when an object of discussion unexpectedly becomes present during the conversation. • Burry the hatchet: to agree that you will forget about arguments and disagreements with someone • Grab a bite: to get something to eat • The pen in always mightier than sword: thinking and writing have more influence on people and events than the use of force or violence Reason • Dot your i’s and cross your t’s: pay great of attention to small details in order to complete something.
