English plays a crucial role in the educational journey of Year 9 students, significantly impacting their future academic success. Did you know that 85% of pupils who achieve a Level 5 or higher at Key Stage 3 also secure 5 or more A*-C grades at GCSE? With the abolition of SATs, teacher assessments will now track progress, culminating in an end-of-Key Stage 3 test based on non-fiction and persuasive writing. This guide emphasizes the importance of consistent homework, reading habits, and maintaining positive behavior in lessons to enhance English proficiency and overall academic achievement.
