Objective • Today, you will read an article on Common Core Standards and write a summary on how to support these standards in your class.

Anchor Standards HOTS Reading • You will read the front page of the article. • One partner reads, the other highlights. • At the end of each paragraph, switch roles. • Decide on a sentence from the article that both of you found interesting. • One partner will provide the sentence, the other will explain why the sentence is important.
