Conditions and Recommendations • Collaborative agreements / financial details • Special regulatory considerations to put to ADC • Some rewording of Def Doc and Prog Spec • Process for approving named awards through FADC • Over-arching Business Plan • Formal agreements in place where delivery to take place on employer premises (eg health & safety issues) Recommendations related to induction ; academic advisor role ; learning resources ; innovative assessment etc JISC – Fast Track Validation event May 2009

Regulatory changes as a result of validation Examples : • No units to be condoned – all to be passed • Candidate may study units at different academic levels at any one time. • Work to be retained for scrutiny by external examiner at a time when candidate may be eligible for an award. • Award of a qualification may be retrospective once candidate has accrued sufficient credits JISC – Fast Track Validation event May 2009

  7. Procedural changes as a result of validation • To permit speedy addition of units to the OPP portfolio of units • To approve new named awards JISC – Fast Track Validation event May 2009
