Jesus Is Coming • The Bible teaches that Jesus is coming again • The Bible teaches that Jesus is coming again with no signs - Mark 13:32 • The Bible teaches that Jesus is coming but not back to the earth - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 • Jesus promised that He would come again - John 14:1-3; Matthew 25:31 • The angels announced that Jesus would come again - Acts 1:11 • The apostles taught that Jesus would come again - 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Hebrews 9:28; 2 Peter 3:10

  3. All The Dead Will Be Raised • There will be a general resurrection of both the good & the evil - John 5:28-29 • The resurrection will be a bodily resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:35-38 • The resurrection will be patterned after Jesus' resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:20

  4. Everyone Will Stand Before The Judgment Seat Of Christ • There is a judgment day coming - Matthew 25:31-32 • Jesus will be the judge - John 5:22; 2 Timothy 4:1 • Jesus will be just - John 12:48 • What will be the outcome? • There will be a separation! • Secret things - Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 • Words - Matthew 12:36-37 • Deeds done in the body - 2 Corinthians 5:10 • Fruits of our deeds - Jeremiah 17:10

The Lost Will Go Into Hell • Hell is a real place • Hell is an eternal place • Hell is the place for the unsaved - Psalms 9:17; Matthew 25:41 It is a place of torment - Revelation 20:10 It is a place of eternal punishment - Matthew 25:46 It is a place described as a lake of fire It is a place of outer darkness - Matthew 8:12 "Eternal punishment" & "Eternal life" are the same in duration But not the same in quality

The Saved Will Go Into Heaven • Heaven is a real place • Heaven will be God's children's eternal home • Heaven is a place now accepting reservations - Revelation 20:15 • Heaven will not be upon this earth - 2 Peter 3:10 It is where Jesus is now - Acts 7:55; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 4:1 It is where the saved will be after the judgment - John 14:1-3; 1 Peter 1:4 It is a better country - Hebrews 11:13-16 It is a prepared city It is where our treasures are - Matthew 6:19-20 It is called "a new heaven & new earth“ - 2 Peter 3:13 It is where the tree of life will be ultimately found - Revelation 22:14 We must be prepared to enter heaven (H, B, R, C, B) Heaven is going to be a wonderful place - Revelation 21:4

God's Plan of Salvation • GOD'S PART • The great love of God for man (Jn 3:16) • He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Savior (Lk 19:10) • Sent the Holy Spirit as a guide (Jn 16:13) • Gave the Gospel as "the power" unto salvation (Rom 1:16) • Provided atonement by the blood of Christ (Rom 5:9) • MAN'S PART • Hear the Gospel (Rom 10:17, Jn 8:32) • Believe the Gospel (Heb 11:6, Jn 20:31) • Repent of past sins (Lk 13:3, Acts 17:30) • Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Rom 10:10, Matt 10:32) • Be Baptized (Gal 3:27, Mk 16:16, Acts 2:38) • Be faithful unto death (Rev 2:10) God has done His part.
