This initiative, funded by Aging in Motion and led by DI Rita Mayrhofer, introduces health-promoting, low-threshold outdoor activities for elderly men and women in Vienna. Through four outdoor activity parks, participants can engage in exercise and socialization, fostering a sense of community. The program focuses on understanding the needs, preferences, and barriers faced by older adults, ensuring the offerings are tailored to create a supportive and enjoyable environment. Results show a desire for group exercises, instruction, and facilities that enhance outdoor experiences.
