The first collection of taxes at the new levy amount would be in December 2007 and delinquent May 1, 2008.

SAMPLE BALLOT SAMPLE OFFICIAL BALLOT GREELEY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 39-0055, COMMONLY KNOWN AS SPALDING PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA Shall Greeley County School District No. 39-0055, commonly known as Spalding Public Schools, be allowed to levy a property tax not to exceed fifteen cents (15¢) per one hundred dollars ($100.00.) of valuation in excess of the limits and exemptions prescribed by law for fiscal years 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 for the purposes of general operations and any other lawful purpose? Shall Greeley County School District No. 39-0055 be allowed to exceed the applicable allowable growth percentage so that its general fund budget of expenditures, plus unused budget authority, for the coming school year (fiscal year 2007-08) shall increase by fifteen percent, which is $219,000 over and above the current year’s (fiscal year 2006-07) general fund budget of expenditures, which percentage and amount shall allow spending authority to equal levy authority over the next 5 fiscal year period covered by this proposition?
