2. HIGHLIGHTS – West Division Ba Town • 35-40 percent of the towns with disruption of power supply • Roads and water supply severely damaged

Life Line - Restoration • FEA restored power supply to some in affected areas in the West (11%) • Water supply – 90% has been restored in affected areas • Roads now accessible - 53% in the affected areas • Telecommunication – not affected (all mobile transmission continues)

3.Major Relief Activities • Preliminary Damaged Reports on Agriculture received from the North • Initial Damage Assessment Western –planned to start today Thursday (26/01/12) • Medical intervention – ECs and flooded areas to be visited • Support agencies (NFA, Police, RFMF) for flood impacts cleaning up, relief rehab and reconstruction
