Location of the city of Brno • Brno is the second largest city in Czech Republic (population 370 000) • Brno is the administrative and cultural centre of the South Moravia Region • Brno is a part of the development axis Berlin – Praha –Vienna – Bratislava- Budapest • Brno is on the crossroad of the two multimodal corridors IV and VIb. Integrated Mobility Centre in Brno • About what we want to inform? • provide information about public transport – public transport in the city, Integrated transport system of the South Moravia • provide information about transport in the city of Brno – parking, access to the city – this kind of information will be provide in cooperation with the information system of the Brněnské komunikace • Cycling paths • selling of the tickets – in the IMC and also through the special ticket vending machine which will be a part of the IMC • help with the chose of the tarif, journey planning • provide touristy information • Information support of the city of Brno Mobility shopsl03.07. 2009lPortolIva Machalova

Integrated Mobility Centre in Brno • IMC will be build as an information kiosk – 2,5 x 7 m • The overall conception of the stand is based on three main pillars which are transparency, easy maintenance and exclusivity of materials with simple construction configuration • The most possible transparent glass fenestration allows looking inside IMC and its operation becomes a part of street life. Also placing staff into the semi-closed designed boxes reinforces direct and friendly approach towards IMC visitors • Under the roof on the longer side of the stand there will be placed two light emitting diode panels to inform citizens about actual events – this is a form of electronic newspapers.
