  1. Ereckson Science Fair 2014 Information

The Ereckson Middle School Science Fair is open to any 7th or 8th grader. • Students may work as individual's or in groups of no more than 3 students • Please keep in mind that this project will be done outside of school. No class time will be used to work on the science fair project. Who Can Participate ?

  3. All projects must be delivered to Ereckson by January 9, 2014. • The projects will be judged on January 10, 2014. • For students that place at the Ereckson Science Fair, you will compete at the Dallas Regional Fair on February 15, 2014 When Is The Project Due?

  4. October 21,2013: topics need to be submitted to your science teacher for approval. You need to have at least 3 ideas for possible project • November 22, 2013: Mid-point check on project. Be prepared to talk with your teacher about your project and progress Important Dates

  5. Starting the week of November 11, your science teacher will be available one day a week before school starts to answer any questions you may have about your project. • Your science teacher will determine what day will be set aside for that help Need Help With Your Project??

  6. Your project will include: • Tri-fold board to display what you have learned during your project and to show the steps to the scientific method • Log book • All appropriate forms completed and turned in to teacher • Your project will be graded by your classroom teacher. The grade will count as a major test grade. The Science Fair Project
