Enhancing ICT and English Learning through Kodu Programming for KS3 Students

This project aims to enhance students' understanding of programming and game creation through Kodu, fostering their interest in computing. Targeting Year 8 and 9 students, it includes engaging lessons delivered across various schools, including a 7-week series at Lilian Baylis in London. Additionally, it focuses on improving literacy among lower-ability Year 8 students and primary school pupils through storytelling. Staff training has been provided in two CPD events, setting the stage for an expansion into a literacy initiative.
