Stress is a significant factor contributing to various diseases and is often challenging to treat due to its mental nature. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of different Chinese medicinal approaches in combating stress-induced effects on heart rate in Daphnia magna. The null hypothesis suggests that Chinese medicine will have no effect on the heart rate, while the alternate hypothesis posits that it will demonstrate a beneficial impact. Understanding these interactions could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches to stress management.
