Jeshurun Waxed Fat • Jeshurun was another name for Israel, meaning “upright one” (Deut. 32:15; 33:5,16; Isa. 44:2) • Jeshurn “waxed” (grew) fat and “kicked” (rebelled)… - The fat of idolatry (2 K. 17:7-18; Jer. 1:16; 5:28) - The fat of material prosperity (Deut. 6:10-12; 8:10-14; 31:20; Neh. 9:25-26; Hos. 13:6; Amos 6:1-6)
