The Cuban Theory posits that Fidel Castro orchestrated the assassination of President John F. Kennedy as revenge for the Bay of Pigs invasion. Key evidence suggests Lee Harvey Oswald, who sought to defect to Cuba and was linked to communist factions, may have been hired by Castro. Castro's explicit communist ideology and aggression toward Kennedy bolster this theory. Although Castro has denied involvement, many believe Johnson’s remark, “Kennedy was trying to get to Castro, but Castro got to him first,” supports the possibility of Castro’s complicity.

What is the Cuban Theory? ●Fidel Castro wanted revenge on Kennedy for the Bay of Pigs assassination attempt ● Oswald was a mercenary for a Cuban Communist assassination team ● Based off of Capitalist and Communist hostilities
Evidence • Castro was a communist – this was pretty clear, as he stated it, and he also wanted to become a Soviet Union citizen and live in Soviet Union • Part of the Fair play for Cuba – he was part of the organization which was against any attack on Cuba • Wanted to visit Cuba – applied for a transition at the Cuban embassy in Mexico City
Conclusion Fidel Castro may have paid Oswald to kill Kennedy. This is a feasible theory because Oswald was pro-communist and had tried to defect to Cuba. Castro also may have wanted revenge for all of the assassination attempts on his life. Castro could have made contact and formed a contract when Oswald went to the Cuban embassy. LBJ said “Kennedy was trying to get to Castro, but Castro got to him first” which tells us that he believes that Castro did it. Castro denies any involvement. http://articles.latimes.com/2013/nov/22/news/la-sh-jfk-assassination-conspiracy-theories-20131121
