  2. Video: Earth’s Surface As we watch, we will discuss some of the processes involved in creating the landforms we observe, and we will discuss the level of biodiversity in each. Video

  3. Pictionary • Each table will contain two teams. Your shoulder partner is your teammate. • 1 partner randomly chooses a vocabulary word out of the bag to draw on the whiteboard. The other partner will try to guess the word. • Each team has 30 seconds to draw/guess what the word is. • No words or numbers may be included in the drawing. Person who draws cannot speak.

  18. Add these definitions to your diagram ECOlogy – the study of the relationships that living organisms have with each other and with their natural environment. REGION- An area or part of a state having specific characteristics.

  20. Ecoregion Project • Today you will be assigned an ecoregion by group. • You will trace your ecoregion onto butcher paper. • Using the folder of information and a laptop, you and your group will research the ecoregion and follow the rubric to complete your project.

  22. Ecoregions Projects • You will finish your Ecoregions projects. • You will complete a gallery walk when projects are finished and fill out information on your sheet.
